What paper would scientists in the early 1980’s use to write notes on? Notebook paper? Unlined paper? Just a random journal?

Please be nice. This was a serious question and there are multiple kinds of paper. Gridded paper, lined paper, printer paper etc.

Scientists would use grid ruled composition notebooks to write in.

According to ChatGPT scientists in the 80s would use standard 8.5 x 11 paper, notebook paper, graphing paper, and engineering paper but the paper wasn’t quite as white as today’s paper

There’s different kinds of paper- for context: I’m making an audio series and I want to use fake research notes as a visual filler. Would using something like notebook paper break immersion?

Nvm I found an example of a 1980s lab notebook, I was just missing the correct wording in my search

You sound like a lovely person. Sorry for not enjoying being laughed at! You are clearly not the kind of person this question was aimed at.
