
Hi OP, the problem is deeper than that. It’s how the debt expanded in society. When there is too much loans, costs go up to where businesses seek to outsource. Manual labor was first outsourced but people didn’t say anything on that. Then it was construction jobs but people didn’t say anything b/c they didn’t have degrees. Jobs with degrees haven being outsource for 2 decades now.
The point is that it is a zero sum game when the loans don’t stop and society doesn’t pay the debt off. Markets stop working because the prices are based on who gets the loan to drive the price rather than who is working or selling. This is why big tech became a unicorn in how it works.
In history, it is called a debt jubilee where the ruler decides to erase the debt because the craftsman and warriors are too much in debt. I believe the US will clear this debt and then businesses will need to hire American because the buying power comes back and costs go down due to that.
