Christian question: if someone sins, and keeps on sinning and knows about it, will god still forgive them? And keep on forgiving them? And do you have to keep asking for forgiveness? How does it work exactly? I don’t understand

God will always forgive you, but sinning brings you further from him every time you sin again. You should keep asking for forgiveness every time you sin but eventually you should try to stop that habit if you really want a close relationship with god.

Jesus paid for all sins to be forgiven and forgotten. He atoned for it all. Thus if you accept Jesus Christ, that it. Think of sin like debt. Jesus paid for everyone’s debt so you can start with a clean slate.

According to actual Christianity, YES THEY ARE. If you order a drink and someone pays your tab, is the drink still owed until you close it?

The point is one must accept Jesus in one’s heart to be saved. If that looks like repenting to you, then yeah that would be right
