Its funny how many non religious people i know that without question will help anyone in an instant, yet i know many christians who only preach division and control

Simple just don’t tell them. Trust me, I told my mom and she said I’m going to hell and all this other stuff. It’s not worth it trustttt me

They’re trying to set me up with a Christian man and I don’t fw it Tbh I trust my mom more than my dad (a pastor). I’m tired of pretending I agree with them in everything and all their values

You could just say you didn’t vibe with him. I totally understand, I’m the same way. I think Christianity is beyond stupid and so unbelievable, but just know they will freak out - especially if your dad is a pastor. Do what you gotta do tho! My mom sends me verses and facebook posts everyday about god after I told her. She tells me to pray about it 😭😭 do what you think is right!

Oof! Maybe you should go on a day trip with you mom and talk to her. Maybe somewhere like a park away feom home where there are no distractions and she’ll have to listen

We’re supposed to drive a couple hours away next week I’m hoping to talk to her then I don’t see their version of Christianity as following Jesus’ teachings at all, but I’ve thought about it, and I can’t believe in a god that has demonstrated more hate than love

Correct. Jesus was the embodiment of love and light and Christians today don’t seem to read the Bible that they preach from.
