Context: I’m a recent grad and haven’t been able to find a job since my summer job ended. The host I’ve known since I was 8 and welcomed me here for as long as I needed, but he left for a trip. The roommate is twice my age and probably pays rent.

Ngl if I were you I would still talk for the drummer like an adult. It doesn’t matter who pays what it’s about a respect thing. Now if talking to him doesn’t work then talk to the family friend
