He clearly wants to keep doing it for you, but I 100% get that feeling If it continues to stress you out I’d say mention it to him (without saying it in a way that makes him feel bad obv)

I feel the same way with my bf! When we go out to eat/on a date we alternate who’s turn it is and sometimes I’ll just say it’s mine because I “forgot” and do that a couple times until he catches on. I did it when he bought me a monitor for his old PC, he got a little upset but he’s over it now 🥰 U could try buying him something special?

Think about how much you love doing nice things for him. Giving to the people you love is one of the nicest feeling ever. You are giving him a gift by being a person worth investing in. Just be grateful and loving and kind towards him and it will be more than worth it. Good luck and know this is one of the most wonderful parts of being in a relationship.

And if the feeling doesn’t go away keep a little mental tally of the nice things he’s doing and then you can get “even” with him throughout the week just doing nice things
