The agents themselves aren’t who you should be hating, it’s the policies inside of the department that allow them to do what they do. ICE has existed since 2002 and to my knowledge it has never received the type of hate it has recently. If we have normal and sound immigration policy not exasperated by hate then there is no reason to dislike ICE. It’s the current policies that ICE have to enforce that suck.

If you watch the video, you can see the officer has clearly stepped out of the path of the car by the time he shot her (which was not aimed at him). He also reached into the car as it passed to fire his last shots. Either way, it was against policy for him to use lethal force in that situation and no one had to be a victim of that.

IT IS AGAINST LAW ENFORCEMENT PROTOCOL TO PUT YOURSELF IN FRONT OF A MOVING VEHICLE. He shot her while recording her on his phone, something officers on duty shouldn’t be doing, and then fled the scene when he shot her. The officer knew he did wrong
