Trump being a playboy has been widely recognized since the 80s. Point being, people didn’t vote for him because they thought he was a great guy. They voted for him bc they liked his policies. Making a moral claim against people who voted for policy is…
If I believe a man is a rapist, and you support that man as the leader of our country, how are we supposed to move past that to start a friendship/relationship?

Fact of the matter is when you vote for president you are voting for someone who is going to be a symbol, roll model, and a representative for our country to the rest of the world. So how is a rapist and felon a good roll model for our youth or a good representative of the USA for the rest of the world? Explain that to me

He’s actually so smart. Act like a clown to relate to common people

I would rather have a bad person with good policy than a good person with bad policy. While both are important ultimately policy will effect my life more

Wrong. People who voted for Clinton doesn’t mean they supported him raping that girl either. Rape is inherently wrong but it has little influence on policy. I hope this makes sense and people stop judging people who voted differently. It’s tearing the nation apart

That’s reasonable but tbf there weren’t a ton of good role models to choose from in the last election

Do you feel proud to have Trump representing us as a country? A man who bragged about going into underage girls dressing rooms?

Representing the country through policy or character?

Both are important, no?

Ofc both are important. But if both candidates are of poor character (not unlike most politicians) then I’d much rather the candidate who’s word means something and the world respects. Nobody is messing with America under trump. We couldn’t afford another Biden

Objectively speaking one candidate was of much worse character. And yes it was the rapist/felon/fraudster
