How can I stop defining who I am by grades and gpa? It’s all I ever think about especially being in college and it makes me hate myself

Suffering begins with understanding where it comes from. Often, it’s rooted in our attachments, cravings, and desires. When we begin to recognize how tightly we hold on to the things we want or fear losing, we can learn to let go. And perhaps, in learning to let go, we can find a little more peace. It also helps to practice temperance and find balance in the way you live.

You can also set a time period when you’re allowed to feel that way and then when that time is up it’s time to switch to the IDGAF mentality. Kind of like a 9-5 type deal. 🤷🏽‍♂️
