Take baths with bath bombs + other basic hygiene, eat healthy yummy foods, basic exercise(like walking for 30 mins or getting 10k steps), and sleeping 8 hrs will boost your mental health ALOT by taking care of your physical health since they are very dependent on each other!!!

Seek the Orthodox Church and its community. Additionally, try to make it to the gym, get plenty of sunlight when possible, pray, and nature walks help a lot.

i went to catholic school and i didn’t like how my teachers acted towards the students, as well as very hurtful things they said

Isn’t that just the teachers at that school I had a similar experience but just changed churches and have had a much better experience

I mean…that’s Catholic SCHOOL. I also went to a Catholic School (at the same time being raised Protestant) and the teachers weren’t always nice as well. Then about 3 or so years ago I found Orthodoxy. Please give Orthodoxy a chance and visits a parish near you. They are very hospitable and friendly. That community (as well as the priest) will help you during times of sadness like you mentioned.
