Veto is crazy, you can have opinions but they aren't the one dating. Tbh it's giving the "they are only a friend" but in reality they are in love with each other and just won't say anything

Depends. If you both like the arrangement and fully trust each other not to abuse the power, ig it’s fine. Your closeness might ward off potential love interests though, depending on how straight you both are. I definitely see why you’d do it, love is a little too blind sometimes.

It’s in case one is being abused and won’t leave not just cause we don’t like the other’s partner we haven’t even used it yet

Unless it’s someone actually bad. I had to “veto” a guy one of my female friends wanted because they hooked up and he stealthed her which is legally assault but she still went to go back to him. Our whole friend group got into her phone and deleted his contact and blocked him on everything
