Insects don’t live as long as we do so my inference based off that is they experience time slower. Ex: a year felt forever when you were a child because you only experienced 10 years ever. By the time you’re 20, a year will relatively feel quicker because it’s your 20th time. Essentially by the time you’re 50, it’ll feel like you’re experiencing it 5 times as fast as when you were 10.
