I appreciate it if they thank me once or twice, anything more than that is unnecessary lol. And offering some gas money is also really kind. I’ll turn it down unless we’re gonna be driving for at least an hour, but I’m grateful for the gesture

hate when i’m not thanked, def not mad when overthanked. and rly appreciate gas money definitely never mad abt that. i get so tired of driving and having to be the one to drop 50 at the gas pump every other day

If I don’t know you well I really prefer when people offer gas money. I don’t take it unless it’s a pretty long drive, but the offer means a lot to me. Thanking is like… idk man it doesn’t really stick in my head at all, as long as we’re friendly I don’t care either way On the gas money, too: I definitely expect it to be offered if they asked for a ride, but if I offered I don’t expect anything

i love being thanked, and no one has ever offered me gas so idk what i would say but i hate when people only want to hang out bc i have a car and then i see them going somewhere else without inviting me bc they found a better person w a car 😭

Like how often? And how far? If I’m going out of my way to give someone a ride, I’d like some gas money. If we’re going to shared plans and they live close (up to a 20 min drive), a thanks is good. I wouldn’t be offended to get gas money.
