Misogynoir. Interracial relationships are valid but a lot of guys who exclusively seek white women out have issues with embracing the women within their own race due to the intersection of misogyny and racism. Often it’s a reflection of internalized hate and a desire for white proximity. Please don’t mistake fetishization for love, it can be dangerous for you and or the black men who want you. my mom is technically mixed (mostly white and a little native) but she gets approached mostly by black guys and a few of them said they had to try because she's curvy

The black guys who only go for white girls or other pale skinned girls just want the proximity to whiteness in order to use it as a status symbol since they see dark skin as inherently masculine and pale skin as inherently feminine. That’s why, if they do date black girls, they’ll only go for light skinned girls. It’s very specific type of misogynoir from certain highly conservative guys.

It’s because white girls do things other girls won’t do.

For me, it’s because I’ve personally met more feminine white women than black women, who’ve statistically been more behaviorally aggressive and masculine in comparison.
