I’m almost never a brand name glazer but I’d look at the marmot precip jacket. I bought one like 10 years ago and have worn it religiously since, although it’s pretty much worn through in the last few years. They’re completely waterproof (like bone dry in a shower waterproof) and do a really good job or keeping wind off, I’d usually just wear it over a hoodie in the 50’s. Also has a bunch of zipper vents so it’s wearable from pretty warm to pretty cold

I usually look for an army jacket of some kind, you can layer them easy with thin hoodies and more. I like to put patches on mine too.

I really like the Columbia jackets with the little silver dots! They’ll keep you warm but not over heating you!
