Best case you will lose the next 5-10 years of the most youthful and interesting part of your life while simultaneously setting yourself up for mediocre financial success, worst case your dead by suicide/a ptsd riddled homeless person (many vets are) in around 5-10 years as well. You need community and to know that people care about you dude, the military won’t give you either of those things, not properly at least. That said if you’re stubborn then navy or airforce will be your best choices.

It’s a democratic state so prices just keep going up and up. I need to save money to move to a different state. Navy just sounds like the best option. Idk:/
