In an honest answer and not fighting with other people, I would say talk to her. Seriously. And if you suspect cheating, dump her. There is no reason to date someone you do not trust. And if you have no evidence, watch your levels of suspicion ans therefore happiness. When you are no longer happy, leave. If you have proof, leave. If you feel like she lies, leave. She could be making friends and enjoying her stay, but if you do not trust her, do not date her.

You right there’s nothing about beautiful sites and a rich cultural history that would make someone want to study abroad lol. It’s just for the men. Bc we don’t have those here I guess

Average traveler just eats food and looks at the Instagram spots and leaves. Doesn’t have more than one convo longer than 30 mins with a local and is studying abroad as a vacation to date foreigners

For travel you see a place. For study abroad you absorb a place. Live there, speak there, make friends. En situ. Is different

It’s an extended vacation and 3 months isn’t enough to become ingrained with a culture simply put.

Never said that. Just said it’s way more than traveling

Alright what’s your disagreement then? Meeting and hooking up with locals or the possibility of doing so is a top 3 motivation for studying abroad most people just don’t want to admit it or say it out loud lmao

I’m sure that’s the motivation for some people, but they can still do that at home. A cheater gonna cheat. I think humanity is more varied than you think it is, and assuming everyone has the same goal is shortsighted and reductive
