My kid is 10 and gets unreasonably angry when he hears 67 - like he snaps. He got in a fight a few weeks back because another kid kept saying 67. Why the anger ?? I barely even understand it to begin with

It was never alive

Anonymous14h
I was gonna say something but I think this speaks for itself

It honestly depends. When teaching kids you can either get annoyed by it or use it as a way to redirect attention. But after hearing it so often it’s not necessarily funny it depends on the context

Anonymous21h
I still say it cuz it’s just funny to point out. I’m usually being sarcastic about my excitement over the number. It’s just another version of 69 or 21.

I turned 19 today. It’s just as funny as it was 21 hours ago. So very in a whimsy and silly way

Oh also I should add that I am a teacher so I’m around kids all the time. I like to feed into their humor sometimes it builds good rapport.

Anyone who doesn’t think it’s funny just a mean old person fr. What happened to silliness and whimsy…

Anonymous#121h
I can’t argue because I was doing IT work this morning and was literally stimming Bill Wurtz while I had trouble with a punch-down block 😭 just quoting and singing entire parts of history of the entire world and history of Japan as my sanity frayed at the edges

Anonymous#1020h
therefore it’s dead for practically everyone that has common sense
13
Anonymous#620h
Came here to say this exact thing 🥲🩷
6
Anonymous#119h
Exactly! 67 is just a celebration of humanity’s whimsy
4
Anonymous#2317h
i genuinely don’t understand what people find funny about it
6
Anonymous#1916h
Kids see that it annoys adults. Therefore it’s funny.
8
Anonymous#1916h
seriously
6
Anonymous#1715h
but adults find it funny too and it makes no sense to me at all

He probably associates 67 with the feeling of anger because it happened so much in school and kids like to torture kids with phrases especially if the kid vocalizes for them to stop. (not saying this specifically happened just a possibility)
