The party does not matter don't even look at that. Just research which candidate shares your values. If they are from the 2 parties get ready for them both to send your money elsewhere though.

to be clear, OP messaged me and clarified their position, but I said it was stupid because voting in one party's primary and then voting for the other party in the general means you influenced the choices of the party you didn't end up voting for, which dilutes your voting power two different ways.
