I didn't realize the thread was 6 weeks old before committing. but respectfully there hasn't been a war in which veterans have fought in since the 1940s that's genuinely been fighting for our lives and freedom.

Yeah, putting yourself in harm's way for something other than yourself is commendable. But pretending that Iraq, Afghanistan, the Gulf, etc was about saving our lives and protecting our freedom is so false

Basically that veterans especially recent war veterans aren’t really veterans cause they went to Iraq vs going to Vietnam/Ww2 and was question why we even respect our veterans. Basic lack of common IQ was the original post.
