if you accept christ into your heart he will forgive you and accept you with open arms no matter the circumstances.

God is the only one who truly knows what’s in a person’s heart at the moment they meet him so we don’t know for sure. That being said it is a mortal sin so I personally wouldn’t want to be in that situation. The act of killing a person without just reason is extremely grave, but God doesn’t view a person who jumps off a cliff during a psychotic break and someone who shoots themself to spite their ex in the same way.
