I get angry and go back to pick my items and begin to lash out how I feel and eventually use words I'm not supposed to. He records me on his phone and sends to my family. I feel bad and don't know what to do. I feel he can use it against me

If I were you I would think about why I would still be with him and what he would bring to my life that would make my life happier. If not, then you don’t necessarily need to continue to be in such a relationship

Offensive like what? Like curse words like the f word or sh*t? Or like calling him slurs and stuff? Tbh if he tries to hold it over your head just act like you don’t even care if it gets out. He sent it cuz he knew that you’d care. If you act like it’s not a big deal he’ll think it’s not either and he’ll try to escalate but you should’ve left by that point anyways!
