Am I a psychopath for loving beef but also absolutely adoring cows? Like cows are my favorite animal and i absolutely love them so much and at the same time i thoroughly enjoy cooking myself an edge to edge medium rare ribeye.
Have you ever slaughtered a cow or animals in general

No. People are complex. As long as you don’t enjoy their suffering you’re okay. Nature revolves around animals eating each other. Try to get ethically sourced meat if you can.

Pets and livestock are not seen the same.

People that eat any sort of meet are the scum of the earth and deserve to get slaughtered just like the animals. Y'all are some monsters

For context, my uncle had a cattle ranch in Montana. I helped him slaughter and break down a cow, then he taught me how to cook the steaks and sell the meat

Yeah there’s no context that makes enjoying killing animals non-psychotic. It’s one thing if you did it but just saw it as part of the process when raising cattle, but taking enjoyment in the deaths of these animals, definitely displays antisocial personality-type tendencies

Not arguing with that logic :D

I mean there’s also a difference between enjoying death/suffering and enjoying the productivity and the work afterwards. There’s a certain satisfaction in making something with your own hands, and sometimes that has to be breaking down meat

Enjoying the productivity of doing something is different than enjoying the suffering
