like if i’m standing on the side of the road and i see a child getting mugged at knife point 2 feet away and i have a 🔫 on me and could very easily be like hey man back off but instead i just stand there and do nothing that would make me a bystander

He gave us free rein of this world. He can guide people in the right direction, but it’s up to the people whether they decide to listen or not. Sometimes He will pull some strings to nudge things in the right direction, but not so much that there’s no deniability that He exists. This life is kind of a test where He gives you the choice whether to believe or not. Also, happiness can’t exist without sadness; they’re two sides of the same coin.

He guided us for hundreds of thousands of years, then sent Jesus in as a final message and then let us manage ourselves. Humanity is not a toddler, more like a teen or young adult now. He even left behind an instruction manual through the Bible. It’s more like teaching us to use the crosswalk, and then setting us by the road and seeing if we use it or not.

i mean the evidence is in reality everyday. humans are not mature or intelligent enough to be left to our own devices. You can give a bunch of 4 year olds knives and tell them not to cut each other but guess what😐

That’s why we have adults to take care of them til they’re mature enough. I dunno man, I think you need more faith in humanity. They are capable of great evil and terrible things, but they’re also capable of great good and wonderful things. I know it doesn’t seem like it right now, with the billionaires consumed by greed running the world into the ground. But I have hope. There is change in the air; I think we’re on the brink of something big, and we have to be the ones to lead it.

well i’m glad someone feels like that. i wish i could feel like that too. but i mostly just feel anger at worst and apathetic at best. or vice versa however you choose to see it. but if i was god i wouldn’t sit by. i would help the people who need it and i would punish the people who deserve it. and if people disliked me as a god for that then so be it. id still be doing what’s right.

He does do that! Just in the afterlife. I understand that this life is not fair, that’s just a very unfortunate byproduct of free will. Some people will get pushed into the road even though they were heading towards the crosswalk and that’s unacceptable. God rewards and comforts those people in the afterlife and punishes those who pushed people. However, if He got rid of all hardship in life, I guarantee you people would not be happy.

Just think of how unhappy the top 1% in the world who are given everything seem. They are so desperate to feel something they result to absolutely heinous things. Pain and joy are two sides of the same thing, and without one, you can’t fully feel nor appreciate the other.

Granted I’m not saying we should just shut up and take it cuz we’ll be rewarded in the afterlife. I’m just saying that hardship is necessary in life. I had a very privileged beginning in life and I would be an absolutely spoiled unreasonable a-hole if I wasn’t humbled by going out into the world and experiencing its unfairness firsthand.

With all due respect, replying to my statements with a “that’s stupid” without explaining why, or just repeating the same thing over and over again shows that you really have no argument 😭 I’ve given you the reasons, whether you choose to understand them or not is up to you. I hope you have a good day!

There’s still no evidence for a god in general, let alone your specific one, let alone your specific sect, and zero reason to worship it after what your claims and buybull do to contradict each other.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn’t, than live as if there isn’t and die to find out that there is.

Even if yours did exist, it would NOT deserve worship.

You’re so aggressive…😭 I admit the system of organized religion is too easy for the wrong people to take advantage of, but that’s the fault of the people, not the Lord.
