Maturing is realizing that America is the villain. Morally, we are on the wrong side of literally everything: education, medicine, food, war, genocide, even censorship. What exactly are we #1 at? What good are we doing for our people? The world?

Yikes😭 I’ve taken two courses on the history, and although you’re correct in that the British empire (not the U.S.) was the one who initially owned the land and left everything to go to hell. Also, in 1948, Israel was attacked by 5 Arab armies. The U.S. and great Brit were actively trying to DISARM Israel.

I’m not trying to be mean. You literally said “the British owned” and then “were given the right to administer Palestine”. Just re-read what you wrote. The “narrative” and who controls it is essential to history. And I guarantee you, calling it “Britain was given administrative control of Palestine” is not an unbiased telling of history. Thats very much a telling that is biased towards Britain and the colonial powers

“Britain was given a mandate”. See? Thats a very biased telling of history. The British and other european colonial powers divided up the rest of the world like a pie. They conquered the world, against the wishes of the people they conquered.

Which part is biased? I agree no one is 100% unbiased but my telling is far more accurate than yours. You can’t just say “Arab countries attacked Israel” without saying why: The “creation” of Israel was a violent act of imperialism where Arabs were slaughtered, displaced, and causing a refugee crisis.

When you use the passive voice, “the British were given a mandate” it makes it seem legal and benign. Thats not what happened. The Europeans violently conquered the world, and declared it legal post-hoc.

U keep saying the same thing and I keep responding with the same thing😭 the Ottoman Empire conquered Palestine, Ottoman Empire fell after WW1, aka conquered was conquered. The allied powers then had to allocate the conquered land, to which this land was allocated to British rule. It’s not biased to say that the land was conquered. That’s literally just what happens in war

Yeah I was going to say those things dint really correlate lol. You’re good though. I just feel like if people don’t like it, it’s considered evil. Like the deportations. Yes there are those wrongfully getting kicked out but at the same time majority are not. It’s not evil to kick someone out who you never welcomed in to begin with. Can we improve the process yes 100% but it’s not evil
