I will always tip, and I will always be mad that my polite, professional server has to rely on the courtesy of a stranger

Y'all keep on making this more than what it is. This is so simple. You only tip when you go to an eating establishment where they bring everything to you at a table. Otherwise there's no need to tip only if you want to tip
