Yes. If they were important to you at some point, you ended amicably, and you’re both way past it, I don’t see anything wrong with it.

Why? To you it might not be disruptive but for them having their ex pop back up again could be upsetting. They might feel like they can’t truly move on because you keep showing up. Especially if they’re seeing someone else that may seem suspicious to their new partner. I know of my ex texted me randomly it would be pretty upsetting like damn I still can’t escape you and live my life happily moved on.
