You might’ve already done this, but I would totally recommend going door-to-door in your neighborhood and telling your neighbors about your cat if you haven’t, and leaving them your contact info. Even if they haven’t seen your cat, if they spot a cat that fits the description they’ll remember you coming by and can tell you asap

put their used litterbox outside. put a camera outside too

Was he chipped? Cause if he wasn't I'll bet you'll do it on the next cat. He's probably really gone. It's only been a week though
