objectively, a felon should not be president. thoughts?

I wouldn’t say it should be a blanket policy that no felon could ever be president since like, there are tons of decent people out there who have felonies from drug charges or other bullshit like that, and I wouldn’t want them to be ineligible to be president just because of that. However, I do think certain felonies like the ones that Trump is guilty of should be disqualifying due to the severity of the crime

Disagree. It’s up to the people to decide for whom to vote. If they choose a felon, that’s both their right and totally on them.

Nah sometimes the law is racist or prejudice against groups. Some crimes are more minor. Let the people decide who’s president not let the government(law enforcement and judicial decisions)limit options. You didn’t quite think this through I think.

I agree 100%!! Felonies are so heavily punished that felons can’t vote, and in many cases (not Trump’s) I think that’s unjust. But also if we’re not letting felons vote for president why the hell are we letting one BE president???? And the answer is because he’s wealthy and white he can do whatever he wants
