cheating is cheating. studies show men care more if it’s physical cheating and women care more if it’s emotional cheating, they’re still both cheating tho and show you aren’t happy in your relationship

It honestly depends on the relationship as well as a myriad of other things. How deep is the emotional cheating? Have you considered leaving your partner? Are you growing resentful of your partner bc of it? Also, what are the set boundaries in your relationship? Are you communicating w your partner what’s going on? It’s not always clear cut, but to answer your question: emotional affairs can often be as disruptive and devastating to a relationship as sexual ones.

Lust isn’t emotionally cheating. Emotional cheating is becoming emotionally attached to someone in a romantic fashion
