Ok. If you love trump so much get off yikyak go fight his war. Iran burning through American soldiers faster than a California wildfire they need your assistance on the front line

buddy I don’t support Trump. I also don’t support the War in Iran. Also they’re not burning through troops goof ball. Get off yikyak if you can’t stomach another persons comment. The 44% funding cut is because of the inefficient use of funds. Yes job losses are never great but they’re unsustainable long term and aren’t outputting resulting justifying the tax payer dollars spent. Trump isn’t all powerful, he didn’t completely call the shots on this decision.

Ok my bad for assuming you support trump it’s just usually when people are brain dead enough to support cutting the national parks they’re also brain dead enough to support Donald trump

And also our ā€œsecretary of warā€ alcoholic talk show host Pete kegsbreath went from refusing to name the number of US soldiers killed in Iran to giving us false underreported numbers. About three weeks ago it was WELL over 300 American soldiers trump admin haven’t reported a real number since.

Considering you aren’t looking at the technical aspect of the funding cut i’m not sure i’m the one who is brain dead. The amount of funding being used is not correlating with more results. The road blocks to in-country materials production is also a problem.

He is probably not authorized to disclose a number without approval and assured accuracy. No comment is better than a false comment. That being said any lives lost is horrible so we agree on that. We just don’t know.

I’m definitely thinking about it but I’m no expert. I do know the national parks (up until very recently) were widely considered underfunded. Not enough rangers, not enough resources to maintain the land (keep it clean and safe from things like wildfires, floods droughts mudslides what have you). Yes it costs money to maintain our national parks. Not sure what you mean by ā€œroadblocks to in country materials production.ā€ Could you elaborate

upvote 5 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> #3 2w

Oh no he’s made false comments that’s what I said like he reported a number that was proven false and lower than the number that the press was able to determine; the press did the responsible thing and demanded the men who are in full control of this war do THEIR job and report the real numbers—they lied at the podium

upvote 1 downvote
šŸ–
Anonymous replying to -> #8 2w

the US forestry service has limitations on logging on domestic land. That was also reduced in union with funding cuts. The funding was mostly cut from research roles not maintenance and safety, however i’m sure in some capacity they too will be negatively impacted but revisions will likely be made if problems arise.

Ok thanks. I stand by my first comment I think it’s DUMB AS HELL to defund the national parks. Not to mention the defund isn’t ever going to be a refund it’s not coming off your taxes it’s not getting deposited in a return. It’s going straight to the military industrial complex aka trumps war in Iran

Okay that’s not true. That’s the yearly budget. And yes death is apart of war. We’ve tried being diplomatic with Iran for years however they refuse to compromise. Especially over the nuclear program efforts. The last thing we need is a terroristic regime obtaining nuclear weapons in a war with a US ally. We’d be forced to respond and WW3 is on its way.

They do lie but why would they bomb their nuclear facilities for oil. That makes no sense whatsoever. They report to regulators how much they’ve enriched their nuclear materials and it was in violation. They refused to reduce concentrations and to explain why they were pursuing enrichment that high.

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #3 2w

Iran did not have nukes they were enriching uranium for renewable energy and medicine, and yes probably for political leverage against the looting terrorist state of USrael. Like I said Iran has not invaded or been aggressive in over 200 years. This year the US has bombed eight countries in the last year, Israel has bombed at least four—both of these countries are allowed to have nuclear weapons, but think they can’t tell Iran to lay down its arms? Laughable.

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #3 2w

And also the USraeli government is bombing Iranian nuclear facilities because then they can easily claim that Iran had nukes and most USraeli citizens will stop even questioning that statement. It’s also happening because USrael is bombing the shit out of the whole entire country; the city of Tehran was fully engulfed in flames—USrael went over there to wage ecological terrorism until the people of the Middle East once again capitulate to our oil demands (as well as gold and poppy.)

Man either you’re force fed the propaganda or you’re drinking the kool aid from the media. Either way we’re sheep in this society. Politics has been polarized into the left and the right to give us the illusion of choice. Either side is NOT in our best interest.

That doesn’t mean you should stop paying attention to what’s going on and it doesn’t mean we can’t organize and stop it. I agree that identity politicking has only ever divided and distracted us. But when people say ā€œthere’s too much going on to processā€ and shit like that, like ā€œwe should all just stop worrying about politicsā€ā€”that is called demoralization and it’s a tactic to stall political progress.
