You are reading way too much into ops post, there's a multitude of reasons why someone might not be texting back and we should strive for good communication not just give up or ghosting, sure if they don't respond for a week after a couple try's, but if it's a reasonable time just text again. There's no reason to pretend there's all these rules and it's so serious and daunting to just text someone you are hoping to date/are into

I’m not reading into anything the post is clear. If someone wants to talk to you, they don't magically forget for hours/days it's intentional. They’ll make the effort. You don’t even have to try at all. This whole text again mindset is for lame bitches. That's how ppl end up chasing someone who already showed they're not interested. Communication goes both ways! not one person double texting while the other can't be bothered! idk why you’re so busy trying to defend trash behavior 😭
