Nothing is rare, if there are red flags that are deal breakers, no matter how big or small someone else might perceive, you're allowed to leave. A deal breaker is a deal breaker. You're the one that has to be in the relationship.

Absent any serious deal breakers like 1 mentioned I’d say just 50/50 rule. If it’s bad more than half the time it’s probably worth examining if it’s worth it for you
