Trump has a decades-long history of racial discrimination and has consistently moved the US government's policies in the direction of racial and homophobic abuse. it seems obvious to me that someone who was not racist or homophobic would not do that. as for Nikki Minaj, I assume she sees Trump as a fellow traveler to her husband and brother, who are both rapists.

Nah, I don't think half the country cares that much about the sexual assault stuff in the first place or Trump wouldn't have won in 2016. I think most 'normal' Republicans who aren't rich just hate Democrats more (which is understandable), or believe the things Trump says about the economy, and those reasons are enough for them
