Historically speaking also exploited Asians in the country and African Americans. Yet nobody ever mentions all the European colonizers as immigrants. Just because some Latinos entered illegally (which many Europeans do too) does not make every Hispanic in the US illegal. Once that assumption is made it becomes tied to racial prejudice.
