Not at all defending what someone did, but to post a question, how long are you going to hold it against someone? One battle after another might be actually one of his most plot “intensive” movies tbh, despite the fact that it is a bare bones plot. Next, plot is so irrelevant to a movie’s quality. There are sooooo many amazing movies that barely have a plot. Third, tf issue you have with the plot??? So anti white it’s amazing, commentary on police brutality and government, literally Willa had to rescue herself every time.

To continue, this is not up for debate, this is an objective fact. Streaming services have media from the dawn of cinema, available at the click of a button. Just because there’s the highest amount of garbage doesn’t also mean there’s an increase in quality filmmaking. If you are actually invested in film you can easily sift through the garbage.
