Trump's team is single-handedly destroying all objective information and cutting ties with the entire rest of the academic and political world, if this isn't Trump warning us there won't be a 2028 election, idk what is

this “reflects an evolution in how Gallup focuses its public research and thought leadership” 🤨🤨 so there’s no actual reason and they’re sucking off the president

They’d rather cancel the whole thing than come out with a 0% approval rating

WHAT, and I cannot stress this enough, THE FUCK? we don't need an approval rating system to know that most people disapprove of the way Trump is running this country does he really think we're that stupid?

Who cares what Gallup thinks let the people decide

When asked by Axios whether political pressure contributed to the decision to discontinue approval ratings, Gallup emphasized that it was "a strategic shift solely based on Gallup's research goals and priorities."

The midterms are going to be quite awful for republicans, and this will provide them an opportunity to say “wow, this is widespread election fraud, because how does Trump win the popular vote in our district, but now it swings 17 points to the left? The majority of Americans love Trump, so this is rigged”

Some people would say there's no way around deporting citizens without a trial and killing protestors in the street

upvote 612 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #3 1d

Yeah because ICE is being run to intimidate and give off the appearance that they mean business while the actual deportation numbers are a joke and they’re incredibly reckless because that’s all Trump is, is a show man. There’s a difference between that and then doing something that would basically require a one party system and that’s assuming more republicans wouldn’t start standing up like we’ve already seen with Thomas Massie

I guess we'll see. I can't say it's 100% that this is really genuinely his endgame. But I don't think it's even remotely improbable that he'll at least try to fuck with the midterms somehow

Trump is a showman, and the scenery on stage is crumbling, so he’s gripping onto it in one last desperate attempt to keep everything going. Metaphor aside: not to mention the countless signs of his cognitive decline. He’s more dangerous now than ever.

“We'll have it fixed so good, you're not going to have to vote” since the campaign trail he has been exceedingly clear that he wants to plunge us so deep into christo-fascism that further elections won’t matter

Brother we got to this situation because people didn’t take trump seriously. Whats trump doing now? Well they just passed a bill making it harder to vote with an indirect poll tax, he’s calling republicans to nationalize and take control of elections, he’s saying we shouldn’t have midterms, he’s said he should’ve had the national guard take the ballots in 2020 and than ICE should oversee the polls, and he’s telling republicans to find the votes or he’ll be impeached.

I think you live with to much anxiety, you don’t really filter what Trump says and it shows. The media has pushed so much people live in fear. Trump says stuff but that doesn’t mean shi. Just like 2020, he never stayed in office, just like Greenland, he never took it by force as much as you people threw a fit

“The media”. Trump is the media. He’s a literal fascist and you refuse to even criticize him

upvote 21 downvote

His recent threats to take Greenland have done massive damage to our relationship with our closest allies in Europe, and trump pulled out of nato to make his threats have more weight on the world stage. Take him seriously or don’t, but the words of the “leader of the free world” have huge consequences even before action is taken.

Ok and the consequences still occurred? Our economy is already cooked and it’s only getting worst, this January was the January with the most layoffs since 2009 after the housing crisis. Our stock market is performing worse than it was projected before he took office, our currency has deflated, inflation is up, ICE is violating the constitution and ignoring due process as they murder, kidnap, and human traffick innocent people. They’re buying up warehouses to make more concentration camps
