Could have been better, volume 1 was amazing. Volume 2 meh, finale was okay, not as bad as volume 2 but could have been a lot better.

Not how I expected that to go. The action happened earlier than I expected. I’m thinking “oh there’s more.” I was wrong. Still liked it though.

y’all think netflix is gonna totally screw over Mike and Will or just partially with everything they cut?

Odd that they had what seemed like the climax an hour in to the episode and then kinda took the oomph out of the big surprise at the end by squirming out of it

oh ok how do you explain the water safety experts for the shock jock episode listed on imdb but there’s nothing to do with water in that episode? and how the runtimes were listed in correctly for all volume two? just an honest mistake?

I’m telling you this as someone who was a diehard Johnlock Conspiracy truther in the 2010s: media created by large corporations will almost always cater to the larger demographic and cut out minority storylines. There will be cut footage, but it will never be what you want. There will be missing lines, but you will find out that they are arbitrary. Go read fanfiction. Go write fanfiction. Look at fanart. Make fanart. Fandom has always been about making something better than what was given.

yeah valid fs, but Finn and Noah said they were had the most scenes together in this season which we never saw. also everyone’s been talking about how Holly is the new main character which kinda doesn’t make sense unless you assume Will and Mike had scenes cut. also in the past, we’ve usually scene how Vecna messes with people’s minds and in Will’s case it was just told to us which felt sooooo strange. i’d bet $100 they filmed that scene fr. like volume one was so good, the finale was good…

the massive dip in quality for volume two doesn’t make sense unless some stuff was cut, imo

A few of the actors in the main cast made posts promoting the Zionist movement, one even mocked the Palestinians being killed. Some people are boycotting because these actors didn’t face any kind of consequences for the nasty things they said

Why do you need pay offs to his parents the pregnant woman I get but the parents not so much.

upvote 4 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #28 5w

I’m not #40, but it’s just a pretty big plot hole that they left completely open. They literally left his family tied up in a barn. Did they escape? If so, why didn’t they report them to the army? I don’t think it’s a huge deal or anything, but it’s a silly oversight that could have been solved with one scene

I thought it was implied with the scene of Robin getting arrested for the drugs that they got out. At the very least after they regrouped after ep 4, they woulda gone back in between scenes. That’s not a plot hole that’s a lingering question. I agree the duffers were sloppy in some of their writing but we don’t need everything laid out. No clue what happened either the pregnant women but I can only assume they evacuated the base after hopper and el infiltrated it. We saw no more military

Wild take. Not perfect, but calling it ass feels lazy. It closed the characters we grew up with, swung big emotionally, and actually committed to an ending — which is more than most shows can say. You don’t have to love it, but it definitely wasn’t a disaster.
