I thought it was implied with the scene of Robin getting arrested for the drugs that they got out. At the very least after they regrouped after ep 4, they woulda gone back in between scenes. That’s not a plot hole that’s a lingering question. I agree the duffers were sloppy in some of their writing but we don’t need everything laid out. Wild take. Not perfect, but calling it ass feels lazy. It closed the characters we grew up with, swung big emotionally, and actually committed to an ending — which is more than most shows can say. You don’t have to love it, but it definitely wasn’t a disaster.
