It got shut down. Towards the end (last half dozen years) it was sadly taken over by bots, prostitutes, and pedos. Back in its heyday it was way better.

Not really. Hush tried but it’s a far cry from what Whisper was. YikYak used to be closest to whisper with location based posts, but then it switched to the group format. I think it was a total bad decision.
