i’m guessing by damaged from gelx, you mean your nails are splitting / lifting from your nail bed? if that’s the case (oncolyosis), in order for them to ‘heal’ they will just have to grow out all the way from the base! look for techs who seem to have happy, returning clients—and if something doesn’t seem right, run!

I had a similar problem, jojoba oil daily and I used builder gel to thicken them while they heal

okay so i could go to a salon and tell them about it and say that i just want a gel manicure with builder gel on my natural nails and that should help a little ?

just let them grow out. it’ll take months but that’s truly the only way

I went to a really nice salon near me, and they had a builder gel. It’s just like a regular gel manicure so you can put color on top it just adds layer of protection almost.
