my boyfriends family owns a pitty, who is a very cute baby and is generally sweet but they didnt train him, he jumps and nips to play if he isnt cuddling. Its not a problem for them as every family member is above 5’6, but im 5’0(1/?)

My bf says it will be fine if I yell at the dog to not jump/stay away from him and I know bf will help when the dog jumps but im nervous

That’s perfectly understandable to be nervous, especially if it’s a concern over your health! If they won’t train the dog, then maybe you can see if they’ll make rooms unavailable to the dog? Like putting baby gates on doorways?
